Design inspiration: The Rete (Net) design, crafted on a jacquard loom using a three-color double-over construction, showcases creativity and artistry. Inspired by Venetian gates that resemble fishermen's nets, this design weaves colors into a stunning mesh-like pattern.The interplay of three colors adds depth and complexity, resulting in a visually captivating piece. The tonal color story enhances its beauty, creating a harmonious and pleasing composition. Meticulous finishing with tonal punta a cavallo stitching along the edges reinforces the craftsmanship and adds elegance. The Rete design embodies artistic expression and pays homage to Venice's cultural heritage in a contemporary context.
Care
This product is made of natural fibers and it is recommended to be dry cleaned. If hand washing use specialized wool and cashmere laundry detergents, do not machine wash, do not bleach, do not use a dryer or use hot iron.
Technical Information
A jacquard loom is used to weave this work of art. The blanket is made of fine yarns of lambs wool and cashmere with a soft felted finishing to give warmth yet remains light weight. Edges are fished with a special color stitching in an exclusive method, a hand rolled edge that creates a cording effect.
