Description
A graphic motif drawn from modernist abstraction gives the Bottoni blanket its distinctive character. Inspired by the post-war rationalist architecture of Milan, Bottoni translates building facades and window grids into a rhythmic pattern. A bold composition softened by noble fibres, it fuses strong lines with tactile warmth. Carefully considered colors restrained and expressive recall the façades of the city.

This product is made of natural fibers and it is recommended to be dry cleaned. If hand washing use specialized wool and cashmere laundry detergents, do not machine wash, do not bleach, do not use a dryer or use hot iron.
A jacquard loom is used to weave this work of art. The blanket is made of fine yarns of lambs wool and cashmere with a soft felted finishing to give warmth yet remains light weight. Edges are fished with a special color stitching in an exclusive method, a hand rolled edge that creates a cording effect.

Design Inspiration
A celebration of contrast, character, and craft the Jacquard Blanket Collection represents a meeting of the old world and the new. Each blanket is woven on jacquard looms by historic Italian mills using noble yarns of 92% Virgin Merino Wool 8% Cashmere a luxurious blend, chosen for its softness, lightness, and insulating warmth. The blankets are double-faced, giving a distinct visual on either side, while remaining lightweight and remarkably warm. A soft felted finish heightens the tactile appeal, making each piece a refined yet comforting presence in the home.
Design, texture, and construction come together in quiet harmony. Meticulously hand-finished details such as hand-rolled edges and contrast punto cavallo stitching add both visual structure and artisanal distinction. With bold graphics softened by noble fibres, the blankets strike a balance between elegance and ease, modernity and memory. Each piece is entirely made in Italy, a testament to the country’s deep textile heritage, where design is both expressive and exacting.

Artisanship
At the heart of each piece lies a reverence for tradition and a commitment to the handmade. The process begins with the finest natural fibres, sourced and spun in Italy to uncompromising standards. Woven on jacquard looms by a family-run mill that has upheld these techniques for generations, the work is a union of technical mastery and quiet artistry. Each design is born from a contemporary view of colour and composition, yet remains deeply rooted in architectural order and historical form.
After weaving, the textiles are brushed and felted a finishing that softens the surface while preserving clarity of line. Final details are added by hand. The result is a work of enduring character, where innovation and inheritance meet, and every thread bears the mark of the maker.
